How To Make Sprouts At Home / Homemade Green Gram Sprouts Recipe

                 
                    I always Preferred to make sprouts at home, I am truly enjoying this process as its very easy, quick and fuss free. Today I am sharing easy and quick way to make sprouts at home without any cloth or sprouter. This is my moms recipe, the sprouts were regular in my moms kitchen in the form of khichdi, dry subji, chat etc. I always thought it includes too much work, then mom told me this method and trust me this works wonder !!! 
        
                 Sprouts are very nutritious and healthy food.They are very good source of Vitamin A,B,C and E, Folic acid, Fibre ,Potassium, rich source of omega-3 and omega -6 fatty acids and much much more. Making sprouts at home is very cheap, fresh and hygienic. If you are newbie in kitchen then I would suggest this easy way to make sprouts at home within very less time. It should take 1 & 1/2 day to grow sprouts. Here is my easy  way ..........

Chakli / Traditional Chakli Recipe - Easy Diwali Recipe

                

          Diwali feast is incomplete without this crispy, savory, homemade "Chakli's" !! In Maharashtra, chakli is made with traditional bhajni i.e whole grains, Jeera, Coriander seeds are roasted separately and give it to mill for grinding. Nothing can compete the taste of homemade bhajni flour.
   
    After coming here(US) I didn't get any bhajni flour, so I started out with store bought flour. I am missing that homemade "Bhajni chakli" taste :( which my mom used to make it during Diwali. few weeks ago one of my friend gives me this recipe and I tried out, it came out super crunchy, savory and tastes same like bhajni chakli. My family loved it. This is full proof and no fail recipe, you should surely try out this crispy, savory chakli recipe on this festive session. I am sure, your family definitely praise you :)  Now I am confident make this often......!!!

We picked a variety of veggies like beans, capsicum, cabbage and tomatoes. After few days ago I made our family fav "Tomato Soup".             Today, I am sharing one of the popular dish which is often make in Marashtrian households. This is Easy, healthy, filling and nutritious thalipith which is made from multigrain flour or In marathi Bhajni. I remember as a kid, mom usually made this on sunday and serve with ghee or pickle..... ahhh, Do I need to say anything!!

        Mom usually make bhajani flour  ( a flour mixture of different grains) in a bulk. Whenever I went to India, she made fresh bhajni flour for me. Here we get K-pra bhajni flour but sum times it gets smelly. So I decided to make my own bhajni flour with mixing of different flours.The end result is yummy, tasty and nutritious thalipith.               Time flies so fast and last week when I went through my posts, I realize this is my 100 post !!ApplauseParty I am very happy write my 100 post and feeling wonderful that I post such easy and tasty recipes. For growing this happiness, I decided to try cheesecake but I am afraid with these kind of no bake cheesecake. Followed every step and voila Dancing I was surprise, cake came out  wonderful and brought a big smile on my face.Blushing

           

            Since long time I wanted to tried my hand on cheesecake. I goggled up found this easy recipe & try to replicate the same. This is spectacular cake paired with Oreo crust and strawberry milk powder without agar agar & gelatin .  Try out this luscious, creamy, colorful bake and because off its no bake it is very easy to make !!

This is a base recipe for all your cooking needs as, subzi/curries, biryani’s  etc. puree has a unique flavor and taste that makes your foods tastier and better.  

     

If you have a jar of tomato puree is ready, it can always substitute for chopped tomatoes. Not only it will reduce your cooking time but gives nice texture & silkiness to curries or biryanis. Murmura Chivda– Spicy Puffed Rice - Bhadang

DSC_0928             I know everyone should like this spicy and tempting munch !In love It is very simple to make with very less oil. My daughter likes these munch when she comes back from school. Even we love to have it with cup of hot tea. Chivda is in very light, healthy form and there are various fancy and different chivdas are made during waddings or festivals. Every single person loves chivda in any form, and the best chivda is made at home. As child and even today my favorite past time is to watch comedy movie and gobble bowls and bowls of fresh chivda. Roasting murmura gives crunchy taste and stay crispy longer. Garlic and sesame seeds gives the extra flavor. You can prepare these snack and store it in airtight container.
