Carrot soup–Easy Soup Recipe

               Last week I went through recipe index, suddenly I clicked that I don’t added soup category. As my family love it creamy and healthy soup always. I usually prefer to make tomato, beetroot soup but my daughter love to eat carrot soup with fresh cream. Carrot soup is very simple and easy to make. It is perfect for anytime in winter. Healthy and low calorie soup perfect for your health and weight. It has mild and spice flavor and can be served with Salad or Garlic bread.

 

 

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 15 minutes | Serves: 3

 

Ingredient

Carrots

4

Garlic

3-4 pods

Crushed Pepper

1/4 tsp

Cumin seeds

1/2 tsp

Olive oil

1/2 tsp

Salt

To taste

 

How to make?

  • Wash the carrot, peel it and chop it into small cubes. Heat pan with oil, saute garlic and cumin seeds for few seconds.

  • Add chopped carrots and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper and 1 cup water, mix well. Cook for 5 minutes or till carrots turns soft.

  • Let it it cool down completely and ground into a smooth paste.

  • Transfer in to a pan. Add water in to it ( I added 1 & !/3 cup water) and bring it to a  boil till soup is thick.

  • Serve hot with garlic bread or salad !!

Notes :

  • You can also pressure cook the carrots and garlic.

  • You can also add fresh cream while making for children's.
