Pineapple Ladoo–Indian Sweet Recipe

          Festivals are just around the corner. Are you guys looking for quick and delicious dessert Open-mouthed smile!! Here is an easy and flavorful ladoo is ready under 10 minutes. I made this quick ladoo with pineapple puree, milk powder and desiccated coconut. I chose this easy peasy recipe which requires less cooking. Try out this little beauties, if you are looking for variety of ladoo or any sort of function or occasion.

 

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 5-6 minutes | Makes: 15

 

Ingredient

Pineapple chunks

1 & 1/2 cup

Desiccated coconut(Dry)

1 cup

Milk powder

1 cup

Powdered sugar

3/4 cup

Ghee

1 tsp

Cardamom powder

1/4 tsp

Chopped Nuts ( for garnishing)

2 tsp

 

How to make?

  • In a mixer jar take all the pineapple chunks and grind into a paste. Heat ghee in a pan add pineapple puree and fry for 1 minute. Make sure do not burn puree, roast nicely.

  • Add desiccated coconut and sugar, mix well. Cook this mixture 2 minutes on low flame.

  • Add  milk powder and cardamom powder and stir well. Cook this mixture about 2-3 minutes.  At this time mixture will start getting thick. Switch off the flame and transfer into mixing bowl. Keep aside to cool down.

  • Rub palm with little ghee. Take small portion and roll them as ladoos. Garnish with some chopped nuts.

Notes :

  • Store them in airtight container for 2-3 days.

  • If the mixture doesn’t get thick, then add 2-3 tsp milk powder and mix well.

  • You can use condensed milk instead of milk powder.
