Green Peas Masala–Mutter Masala

DSC_1990

My B’fly loves to eat fresh peas and corn but very rarely I will get fresh peas here. I am trying different recipes with peas. One of it is “green peas masala” and that is very flavorful and spicy curry. Today thought of making this without milk or cream and my B’fly loved it a lotSmile

Green peas is one of the handy ingredient that everyone has it in pantry. Green peas also low in fat, rich in iron and source of vitamin A. My family loved to eat it with hot chapathis for Dinner!!

Notes :

  • You can use dried peas also. Soak dried peas overnight or atleast 6 hours. Pressure cook with 2 cup of water till 4 to 5 whistles.

  • I used frozen sweet peas.

  • Instead of paprika you can add Kashmiri chili powder for dark red color.
