Cabbage Paratha Recipe

               An easy paratha that can be made quickly for kid’s lunch box or breakfast or lunch.There are two ways i.e. stuffed with grated cabbage or like this way. In both ways it is very tasty and healthy eating. A very good way to sneak green vegetables especially for kids who are fussy about eating curries or dal. This recipe is definitely keeper In love Try this recipe, you will surely love it !

 

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 15 minutes | Makes: 4

 

Ingredient

Wheat flour

1 cup

Grated / Chopped cabbage

1/2

Turmeric

1/2 tsp

Red chili powder

1/2 tsp

Garam masala

1/2 tsp

Ginger garlic paste

1/2tsp

Chopped cilantro

2 tsp

Oil

2 tsp

Salt

As needed

Water

As needed

 

How to make?

  • Take a large bowl, mix wheat flour, cabbage, red chili powder, garam Masala, ginger garlic paste, cilantro, turmeric, oil and required salt.

  • Knead and make soft yet pliable dough by adding little amount of water. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

  • Divide dough into equal size of balls. Roll it out using rolling pin, dust flour when needed.

  • Heat tawa / pan on medium flame. Roast them on both sides till golden brown in color, apply oil on both sides.

  • Serve hot with curd or pickle !

Notes :

  • Grated cabbage releases water, carefully add water while kneading dough.

  • Do not keep dough longer time as water releases from cabbage and you may not be able to roll paratha.
